Rentals are for 90 minutes. $20.00
You can schedule ONLY one diamond per team, per week between January 9-March 10. Additional times may be selected beginning March 11. Should you or another person reserve additional times or a second field for your team during the early signup of January 9-March 10, you will forfeit all of your reserved times - no refund.
Times: 3:30-5:00PM, 5:00-6:30PM, 6:30-8:00PM and 8:00-9:30PM. Due to darkness don't reserve the 8:00-9:30PM until early June.
Note:
NO REFUNDS. Weather related cancellations may be rescheduled at no charge pending diamond availability.
Please take your usage permit with you. Should you have any problems, contact the non-emergency Marion Police Department at (319) 377-1511.
Do not hit balls against the fence.
Ball diamond users are responsible for cleaning up and removing their trash.
Marion City Code Park rules (Ch. 238) apply to all ball diamond rentals in addition to the following:
ANIMALS 117-14: No animal shall be allowed in any City park, pavilion, playground, food vendor or ball field in a City park or golf course unless it is attached to a leash not more than 6 ft. in length and of sufficient strength to restrain the animal when the leash is held by a person capable of restraining and controlling the animal.
SMOKING, TOBACCO, NICOTINE, VAPORIZERS PROHIBITED 238-16: Smoking and the use of tobacco, nicotine products, and vaporizers will not be allowed in City parks, trails, buildings and parking lots. This includes usage in personal vehicles while on City property. Violators will be subject to a $50 fine.
