Marion Sprint Triathlon

Swim, bike and run for fun! Challenge you or your whole family in this sprint triathlon right here in Marion. You will first start with the swim at the Linn-Mar High School Pool, then bike around the area before running laps around the Linn-Mar High School Track. Longer distances will run on a route around Marion.
Five different divisions based on distance. No previous triathlon experience is necessary. For the kids division they should be able to swim a basic front stroke to participate. Volunteers needed!
SKILL LEVEL SWIM BIKE RUN
Division A 25 yards 1.25 miles 0.5 miles
Division B 50 yards 2.5 miles 1 mile
Division C 100 yards 3.75 miles 1.5 miles
Division D 200 yards 5 miles 2 miles
Division E .5k (0.31 miles) 25k (15.5 miles) 5k (3.11 miles)

Note:

You will receive an email two weeks prior with more information on start times, routes, and any additional guidelines and information.

Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to your start time at Linn-Mar High School Pool.
Separate divisions by triathlon distance (Divisions A - E).
Participants will swim, bike, and run in that order.
Participants bring their own bike and must wear a helmet.
Participants can move up or down skill levels based on their abilities at their parents’ discretion.
